What is a KIIS?

The Key Investment Information Sheet (KIIS) is a standardized document required by ECSPR for all crowdfunding offers. It's designed to give you essential information in a clear, comparable format.

Sections of the KIIS

1. Investment Overview

Basic information about the company, offer size, and pricing.

2. Risk Warnings

Standard warnings about the risks of crowdfunding plus any specific risks for this investment.

3. Key Information on the Project

Description of the business, its goals, and how funds will be used.

4. Financial Information

Historical financials, current position, and projections (with clear assumption statements).

5. Terms and Conditions

Your rights as a shareholder, voting rights, dividend policy, and exit provisions.

6. Funding Target Information

Minimum and maximum targets, what happens if targets aren't met.

📋 The KIIS is limited to 6 pages by regulation, so every word matters. Read it carefully!
