Before You Invest
Make sure you have:
- Completed KYC verification
- Completed the investor categorization questionnaire
- Passed the knowledge test
- Funds in your Fenix Crowd wallet
Step 1: Browse Opportunities
Visit the Invest page to see all live funding campaigns. You can filter by industry, funding stage, or minimum investment amount.
Step 2: Review the Campaign
Each campaign page includes:
- Pitch: Company overview, business model, and growth plans
- Financials: Historical performance and projections
- Team: Information about founders and key team members
- KIIS: Key Investment Information Sheet (mandatory reading)
- Q&A: Questions from other investors and company responses
Step 3: Read the KIIS
The Key Investment Information Sheet is a standardized document that summarizes the investment opportunity and its risks. You must acknowledge reading this before investing.
Step 4: Enter Your Investment Amount
Enter the amount you wish to invest. The calculator will show you the number of shares you'll receive and your percentage ownership (approximate, as the final amount depends on total funds raised).
Step 5: Confirm and Pay
Review your investment details, confirm you understand the risks, and complete the payment. Funds will be held in escrow until the campaign closes.
Step 6: Cooling-Off Period
You have 4 calendar days to cancel your investment for any reason. After this period, your investment is binding (subject to the campaign reaching its funding target).
